      What does my Heating Tune Up include?

      • Check Thermostat Settings – Ensure the thermostat is functioning correctly and programmed for energy efficiency.
      • Inspect Air Filters – Clean or replace dirty air filters to improve airflow and indoor air quality.
      • Examine Blower Motor – Inspect the blower motor for dust buildup or malfunction to ensure proper air circulation.
      • Test Electrical Connections – Tighten or replace faulty wiring to prevent electrical issues or short circuits.
      • Check Fuel Connections – Inspect and secure gas or oil connections to avoid leaks, inefficiencies, or dangerous emissions.
      • Test System Controls – Ensure system controls, including start-up, operation, and shutdown, are functioning smoothly.
      • Examine Heat Kit – Inspect the electric heat kit for wear, damage, proper heat size, and components to ensure proper heating performance in electric systems.
      • Adjust Airflow if Needed – Ensure air ducts and vents are unobstructed and adjust airflow for optimal distribution throughout the home.
      • Examine Heat Exchanger – (Gas Systems only) Check for cracks or corrosion, as damaged heat exchangers can lead to carbon monoxide leaks.
      • Test Carbon Monoxide Levels – (Gas Systems only) Testing for carbon monoxide leaks is critical for safety, as this odorless gas is highly dangerous.
